The Mardi Gras acting proverbs game is fun to play with your theatrical friends at a Mardi Gras celebration. It's Mardi Gras, time again for fun, laughter and parties. For those that are throwing a great Mardi Gras party, you have to include a few fun games. Here is a party game called the Mardi Gras Acting Proverb game that is certain to entertain and delight all who play. The best way to play this game is for the players to divide themselves up into two teams, the audience and the actors. Each of the actors should then pick a proverb which he will act out in front of the audience. Here’s an example. Suppose one of the actors has chosen the proverb "A bad workmen quarrels with his tools." He should go into the room where the audience is seated, carrying with him a bag in which there is a saw, a hammer, or any other implement or tool used by a workman or pretend that he has tools, he should then look around and find a chair, or some other article, which he should then act the workman, by taking off his coat, rolling up his sleeves, and commencing work, often dropping his tools and grumbling about them the whole time. If this game is acted well, it may be very entertaining. For every wrong guess, the audience gets a point off. The fun in this game is that you can do it anyway that fits you! Choose songs instead of proverbs. Or, select a fun theme that will play through them all. Make it your own! You will have a lot of fun if you add Mardi Gras prizes and favors for your guests.
