Mardi Gras just got more fun with the addition of this wonderful game called the Forbidden Letter. The idea of this game is to try to get as many sentences spoken that do not contain a certain letter, previously agreed to. For example, the letter "f" is not to be used. The first player might ask: "Is this a new game to you?" The second player could answer: "Oh, no. I played it years ago when I was quite young." He would perhaps turn to the third player, and ask: " Do you remember it?" The third player might answer, "Yes, but we played it differently." This third player would be out because he had used a word with a "f" in it. The answers must be given at once, without hesitation, and the player who avoids using the designated letter the longest wins the Mardi Gras game prize. This game can get very tricky, but can be great for older children and adults alike.. With a few simple letters to start and some more difficult ones as well, it will be great Mardi Gras fun. |
